I will be on parental leave from Wednesday, September 20 through Tuesday, October 3. We will not meet in person during that time period, and in order to “make up” that time each student should work on the following assignments during my absence.
Townshend Act Twitter Project
Each group is expected to make significant progress on the research project during the two weeks. Please keep in mind that the classroom will be available during our regular class time for any group meetings to take place.
Podcast Episodes
Each student should listen to the following episodes of the Ben Franklin’s World podcast:
- By Sept. 27: Episode 151: Defining the American Revolution
- By Oct. 4: Episode 112: Mary Beth Norton, The Tea Crisis of 1773
For each episode, there will be a blog post comment thread (password protected). Instructions appear on the linked blog post. These discussions are required for your class participation grade for the two weeks.
We will resume class meetings on Wednesday, October 4.
